Explore the Indian Golden Triangle: Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. A full day tour of Old and New Delhi, a half day tour of the Pink City, a visit to the famous Taj Mahal, the Red Fort and the Jantar Mantar (without forgetting the walk around the Ram Niwas Palace gardens), the colourful markets of Jaipur, and especially the shopping in Connaught Palace in Delhi. A wonderful trip to a wonderful country…

 

Description of the circuit:

Get in touch with the spiritual essence of India by discovering the Golden Triangle

 

DAY 1:  ARRIVAL - DELHI

                Upon arrival in Delhi, meet and transfer to hotel

DAY 1: DELHI - AGRA

AM:        Depart to Agra (4hr drive) check in at hotel:

PM:        A half day tour of Agra

                The Agra Fort and the Moti Masjid

DAY 3: AGRA - JAIPUR

AM:        Early morning visit to Taj Mahal

                Back to hotel for breakfast

PM:        Drive to Jaipur, en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri (5h30m)

                The audience halls

                Palaces and Mosques

 

DAY 4: JAIPUR

AM:        Excursion to Amber Fort on caparisoned elephants

                Half-day tour of the Pink City of India:

                The City Palace and Ram Niwas Palace gardens

                The Palace of winds “Hawa Mahal”

PM:        Free time at leisure

 

DAY 5: JAIPUR - DELHI

AM:        Depart to Delhi (3hr drive) check in at hotel

                Half day combined tour of Old and New Delhi:

                Jamma Mosque, Shantivan, India Gate and Raj Ghat

                Photos stop in New Delhi at Qutub Minar (72 m high)

PM:        Pass by the Red Fort, Embassy area, the Jantar Mantar

                Check the Connaught Place for shopping in New Delhi

 

DAY 6: DELHI - DEPARTURE

                Transfer to the Delhi airport for departure flight
